Chow Down in Brownstown

The FIRST EVER Brownstown Food Truck Rally will be Wednesday, June 20th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Greater Detroit Auto Auction - 19865 Telegraph Road (between King and Sibley Roads)Brownstown, Michigan 48183. Admission is free.

To those that aren’t regular viewers of the Food Network – a food truck rally is a gathering of mobile food vendors that sell gourmet food offerings in a designated area. Other such events sponsored by the Michigan Mobile Food Vendors Association have drawn between 2,000 and 3,000 people all over the metro Detroit area. They have been very popular with foodies and others looking to try something new.

Eight of the finest mobile food vendors in the United States will be offering their fare. Participating trucks include Concrete Cuisine offering great American food with a twist. Jacques Tacos has fresh and delicious Mexican cuisine while El Guapo Grill takes fresh Mexican food and adds an international flare. Franks Anatra will be serving up award wining hot dogs and sausage while the Green Zebra Truck will be bringing upscale contemporary fresh hand crafted street food. Ned’s TravelBurgers will quench your hankering for a great burger and street fries with gourmet dipping sauces and The MacShack will satisfy you with made-to-order macaroni and cheese. You can finish off your culinary adventure with the most original and innovative homemade ice cream brought to you by Treat Dreams.

The Greater Detroit Auto Auction, Michigan largest public and dealer auto auction, will be holding a live auction at 5:00pm during the Food Truck Rally. Check out their website for more details
