Brownstown Business Expo – Back by Popular Demand!
Pop-Up Farmers Market and Taste of Brownstown
Brownstown, Michigan – Back by popular demand is the fourth Brownstown Business
Expo. The Expo will be held on Wednesday, June 4th from 2pm to 7pm at the Brownstown Community Center at 21311 Telegraph Road in Brownstown Township.
For the second time in 2014, the Brownstown Downtown Development Authority is sponsoring this event. There was such a demand from the business community to have another Expo that it was decided to plan one for June 2014.
The Expo is open to the public and free of charge. The January 2014 Expo was a huge success despite below zero wind chill factors and a couple of feet of snow on the ground.
“This time around we can promise that we will not have a wind chill factor below zero,” said Sue Trussell, Assistant Director of the DDA. “If you have been to one of our Expos in the past, come by again. There will be many new vendors and new attractions.”
A new attraction to this Expo is the Pop-Up Farmers Market. Vendors from the 2014 season will be there so visitors can preview this season’s market before it opens.
Returning to this Expo is the Taste of Brownstown with some new restaurants/caterers which will include Mr. Nick’s Restaurant in Trenton, Silver Shores Catering in Wyandotte and Deb’s Catering of Brownstown. And returning will be Brownstown Bearclaw Coffee serving up delicious drinks. Each establishment will be giving out free tastes of their delectable dishes.
There will be over 35 exhibitors showcasing their wares along with Brownstown Police and Fire Departments distributing valuable information. Contact Sue Trussell at (734) 675-5911 for more details.
