School supply donation drive and Make-a-Wish Foundation

Feeling Generous?

School Supply Donation Drive and Make-a-Wish Foundation will be at the Brownstown Farmer Market on Tuesday

In an effort to help local kids go back to school with the supplies to succeed, please bring new school items to the Brownstown Farmers Market between 12noon and 6pm.  There will be a donation box to drop off new school items including pencils, folders, binders and backpacks.

Each week, the Brownstown Farmers Market offers a free booth to a community organization or charity free of charge.  This Tuesday, the Make-A-Wish Foundation will have a booth at the Brownstown Farmers Market.

Since its inception in 1984, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan -- a chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America -- has brought joy into the lives of thousands of people in our Michigan community through its important wish-granting mission. There are more than 450 medically eligible Michigan kids awaiting their true wishes. Be a part of this magic and bring joy in your community by visiting the Make-A-Wish booth at the Brownstown Farmers Market on Tuesday, August 20th from 12noon to 6pm. For more information, call 800.622.9474 (WISH) or visit www.wishmich.org.

The Brownstown Farmers Market is located at 21313 Telegraph Road Brownstown.  For more information contact Sue Trussell (734) 675-5911.
